Terms of service

Rules for the Sidewave growth network and advertising services.

Your account

Use an account and wallets you control. Keep your credentials secure. Wallet signatures authenticate your account; they do not authorize transfers from your wallet. You are responsible for the information and advertising you submit.

Growth network projects

The growth network coordinates recommendations between participating websites and platform-organized Launch Days. Project submission is followed by domain ownership verification and review. Approved, verified projects with promotion enabled can appear in public listings and recommendation cards, including their name, URL, description, audience, language and image. Launch Day is separately curated by Sidewave. Its program may include online demos, in-person events and coordinated promotion, as described for each edition. Selected, verified and reviewed projects may appear in that event’s public lineup independently of their daily recommendation setting. Submitting interest is not an event application or a confirmed place. Submission or approval does not promise traffic or acceptance into a launch.

Your recommendation permissions

You choose whether your website supplies recommendations, whether the network may promote your project, a daily contribution limit, excluded projects and whether your website slot may support Launch Days. Supply and promotion can be paused separately in the workspace. Turning off supply does not erase previously recorded contributions. Disabling launch permission or withdrawing an application stops future eligible campaign allocation; it does not undo delivery that already happened. Website recommendation permission does not authorize posting to your personal social accounts.

Contributions and allocation

Ordinary allocation uses validated contribution over the previous 14 complete UTC days, subject to audience and language compatibility and available inventory. View events wait at least 24 hours for validation. Pending, invalid, duplicate and same-owner events do not earn valid contribution. Contributions are allocation inputs, not money, transferable credits or a balance that can be redeemed. Limited starter and calibration support has finite capacity and limits. Daily settings and allocation plans are ceilings, not delivery promises, and pilot capacity limits may be lower than a requested limit.

Shared launches

Sidewave publishes actual launch schedules and reviews applications. Launch delivery uses compatible website slots whose owners have enabled launch participation, within their daily limits and the event reservation. A saved launch interest or submitted application is not a confirmed place. Activities require available resources and operator activation; there is no guaranteed audience size or result.

Sidewave Ads

The advertising, balance, payment and earnings provisions below apply when you use Sidewave Ads. Growth-network contribution does not create advertising funds or withdrawable earnings.

Websites and advertising

You must control the websites you submit and have the rights to your creative materials. Websites and campaigns require approval before ads can run. Do not submit unlawful content, deceptive claims, malware, impersonation or material that infringes another party’s rights.

Real visits only

Do not generate artificial views or clicks, hide ads, incentivize false engagement, or purchase your own inventory to manufacture earnings. Suspected traffic can be held for review. Invalid billable events can be reversed and the advertiser refunded.

Budgets and earnings

Campaigns use a USD-denominated advertising balance. A submitted campaign reserves its budget. Delivered, accepted impressions draw from that reservation at the campaign’s CPM. Ending a campaign releases its unused reservation. The revenue share between developers and Sidewave has not been set yet and will be published here before paid delivery opens. Developer earnings are held for traffic review before they become available to withdraw or reinvest. Payment provider and conversion fees are separate from this advertising revenue split.

Crypto payments

Available assets and networks depend on the configured payment provider. Funding is credited after the provider confirms receipt, using its confirmed net settlement value. The invoice amount and credited balance may differ because of fees or conversion. A withdrawal request is not a completed payment: it requires review, a fresh conversion quote and provider confirmation. Verify the destination address and network before submitting a request.

No promised outcomes

Ad availability, impressions, clicks, conversions and earnings depend on actual supply and demand. Sidewave does not guarantee a fill rate, a return on advertising spend or an increase in the value of any crypto asset. No platform token is issued by these terms.

Account restrictions and disputes

The operator may pause inventory, campaigns or withdrawals to investigate security, traffic quality or payment issues. Contact support to ask for a review or to discuss a balance discrepancy. Transaction records are retained for reconciliation and applicable recordkeeping obligations.
