Terms.

  1. 01
1K is a Sidewave project: one thousand seats, numbered 000 to 999, each held by an independent developer chosen by Sidewave. Together the holders are one organization of a thousand founders.
  2. 02
You apply with your Sidewave Signal. Sidewave chooses who receives a seat. A seat is yours once you accept these terms.
  3. 03
Sidewave makes visuals for every holder from your Signal and the works you choose to show: your cube, a key visual and a Three.js poster.
  4. 04
You allow Sidewave to show your name, handle, portrait, links, bio and chosen works on 1K, on your seat page, and in visuals and promotion of 1K. You keep ownership of your work.
  5. 05
What you submit is accurate and yours to share.
  6. 06
A seat is held, not owned. It is not property, money or a transferable right. Numbers never change; holders may. Seat 000 belongs to the founder of Sidewave.
  7. 07
Edits to your Signal update your seat. You can give up your seat at any time by asking Sidewave. Sidewave may release a seat after a breach of these terms or the Sidewave Terms.
  8. 08
A seat page keeps its history: the names of earlier holders and the dates they held it.
  9. 09
The thousand may make things together: a company, a product, an event. Before any of it starts, those taking part agree in writing what each contributes and how the result is shared, for example an equal share of a company or of a product's revenue. These terms do not by themselves grant shares or revenue.
